When WLS celebrated its
25th Anniversary as a hit
music station, I was put in charge of much of the
on-air production, including writing and producing a show that would incorporate the history of WLS with its Top 40 years. As part of WLS' 75th Anniversary, the show had to be revised and new material added in 1999. The show took a long time to produce and, even today, we get requests to hear it. From 1960 to 1985, some of the most amazing talents to ever grace a microphone called WLS "home." So, here it is, all six segments, commercial free.
