I live in an area of Hollywood known as Beachwood Canyon. Beachwood Canyon is the home of the world-famous Hollywood sign. Even though my house, which is directly under the sign, appears on television and print materials it is still a very quiet place with lots of nature. It's a perfect place to write and commune with your thoughts. In the morning, birds arrive en masse with their songs. On some spring days, a deer and her fawn might sun themselves in my back yard while at night you might hear the sound of coyotes in the distance. The neighborhood, adjacent to Griffith Park, is home to all kinds of creatures and once in a while you might even spot a fully feathered peacock. It is one of the most unique urban places in the nation and a wonderful place for creativity.
