In the spring of 2009, I approached WLS in Chicago about doing a show for Memorial Day that would feature, as guests, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Mark Levin. I had met Rush a few years earlier when I hosted the WLS Stars On Stage event at the Chicago Theatre. I worked with Sean on an extensive project for his show and I had known Mark long before he was a national radio personality.
Doing a show like this could not have been possible years ago. Rush was at his studio in Miami, Sean was at his studio and Mark joined the show via telephone. To my knowledge they had not appeared together on a show like this and it's as much a testament to the power of WLS as it is of technology. Whether you love or hate any of these three titans in Talk Radio, I can tell you from personal experience that they believe in what they're doing and are the best at what they do. There are many that believe these major personalities are the protectors of American patriotism and liberty. Ditto.
